Union Home Mortgage Foundation Makes Donation to Capital Area Housing Partnership

In an ongoing effort to support and improve local communities, the Union Home Mortgage Foundation is giving back by donating $2,500 to Capital Area Housing Partnership.

Lansing, Michigan – August 3, 2022 – In an ongoing effort to support and improve local communities, the Union Home Mortgage Foundation is giving back by donating $2,500 to Capital Area Housing Partnership.

Capital Area Housing Partnership is a nonprofit housing ministry operating in Lansing, Michigan, that aims to develop strong, diverse neighborhoods with a focus on affordable housing, homeownership and financial security. Its Building Capital Program lays the foundation for individuals to achieve their goals by knitting housing resources and financial literacy education together. HUD-certified counselors help clients develop a plan of action to achieve long-term financial success through and teach educational workshops promoting responsible homeownership. On average, the Building Capital Program serves 500 households per year, with more than 5,300 households served in the program’s 11 years. In 2022, Capital Area Housing Partnership is aiming to provide services to 650 households across mid-Michigan.
